bilo je prima poletje. srečala veliko super ljudi, pojedla velik sladoleda, uspela it v hribe, veliko tiskala, naslednji teden naj bi izšle prenovljene bohinjske novice, ki sva se jih lotili s klaro (držimo pesti!). vmes še ena bolečinska izkušnja več, ampak mislm, da te take stvari samo utrdijo (čeprav: ena buška kar ne izgine!?). v soboto še eden verjetno zadnjih potepov v hribe, potem pa nazaj v šolo. a! na-a! potem pa na dopust!!

belgija, nizozemska. če imate kakšne predloge, česa se ne sme zamudit, kr na dan z besedo, prosm.

it’s been one great summer. met great people, ate  lots of ice cream, visited some great summits, printed like mad, next week we are supposed to receive redesigned local news, which we made with klara. somewhere in between got into a bicycle accident, but these experiences maybe just make you tougher (although i still got one bump left!?). on saturday we plan one of probably the last trips to the mountains, then classes start. darn.

but! i still have vacations left. i’m heading to belgium and the netherlands in october. if you have any suggestions what i shouldn’t miss, shout out. thanks.

i’ve been busy … and in autumn i’ll collect the fruits.

well, things didn’t go as planned. an additional event occured. a life lesson?

i had an accident with my bike. but got lucky. so, i only got few bruises, a sore shoulder and a free make-up on my right side of the face.  the say the third day is the worst, so i’m at that phase now and ready to get better. maybe i made things a bit harder for my shoulder yesterday when screenprinting but it’ll be ok. so, i’m keeping things steady, eating figs (!) and making cold camille compresses – they’re supposed to help (figs and ice-cream too, hehe).

last week i received an honourable acknowledgement from the mayor of our commune bohinj. he regarded me for my student work as a received a faculty prešeren award in december for my diploma. it was a bit strange to seat among, let’s say, adult people, getting great awards for their life work (as being part of mountain rescue service, firemen brigades …). but: thank you! they all seemed very supportive.

and i’m making plans for my vacation! <it’s been way too long and i must pull it through!!>

it’s my last week at work (summer job of renting boats). cannot deny that i met some wonderful people. but also had to deal with some heavy pain-in-the-asses. will not name them because probably someone would accuse me of hostile speech.

as i notice i can not manage this heat, especially biking in it, i’m making a list of things i need to do, before summer ends. play the piano, since i haven’t done it for too long, eat corn, have a long walk in the forest. watch at least one good movie, screenprint, go on a trip. or just: watch the horizon.

Kje je skrajni cilj? Je to najvišja gora, najtežja stena? Ne, kajti doživetij in vrednot, ki se kopičijo v tebi, potem ko ti je vsaka gora podarila delček sebe, ni mogoče izmeriti s stopnjami ali metri. In tako kolovratiš z gore na goro, v soncu in dežju, v dobrem in slabem. Čeprav nikoli ne dosežeš zadnjega cilja, je blodenje poplačano, bogastvo doživetij je neprecenljivo. Ti pa, hajdi dalje. Tako je pač življenje. Ampak recite, kar hočete, na planincah je pa le luštno biti.

been around, been busy. had some great people, dear friends come over here for a visit, spend two beautiful days in the mountains. went to a picnic and hang out in ljubljana zalog where witnessed a great performance by canadian band suuns. just got more chills to fly out there.

but i have some more work to do, little personal projects to finish and then … who knows? i have to fly out somewhere. or head up to mountains. just: “far out” as the dude (big lebowski) would say.

what are you up to?

while kajakaja is busy making hats i had a meeting with our mayor. few months ago we talked about renovating the local news, because we find it … not very communicative, let’s say. so we contacted the editor, she gave us texts and photos and we prepared two prepositions. we arranged a meeting to present the ideas and got a green light! owyeah! jolly good. i love talking to people who are open to new ideas and even talking to them is so easy because they are not up-tight and even the first handshake shows it. we will be designing the september issue.

was a real fine day! it makes you feel real good and gives you new energy to keep on.

on the other hand i’m waiting for some nice days to head for mountains. almost two weeks now and the weather is still pretty strange. although those hot days gave me the burns.  i’m not bored. i’m working (and getting hit by tourists#this probably sounds weird), listening to singing birds outside, making cookies, gathering some ideas for screenprinting and on saturday i’m helping organizing a concert.

have another day of time off.  fells great. i took one of the walks we used to have as kids and picking flowers. and rain is pouring. gives a feeling of ease. i’m just enjoying individual rays of sun, finishing some things, reading, and smelling the coffee on my fingers.

on saturday you’re welcome to attend a concert (entrance free, but in case of bad weather cancelled) of new wave syria. and on 30th another invitation to a concert of mr. vontone, a rock band. i made the flyers, they’re countinuing the tradition of last year concerts, entitled new postcards of bohinj.
